Mark E. Draper
Mark was born in Bayshore, New York, and is a long-time resident of Springfield. He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Western New England College in 1971 and his J.D. from WNEC Law School in 1977. He was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1977, the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts in 1979, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit in 1989.
Mark's practice areas include construction law and civil litigation. He formerly served as both Associate and Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Springfield. Mark has remained an active participant in Springfield and in contractor organizations. He is Chairman of the Springfield Parking Commission and an associate member of the Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, the largest construction trade association in the Commonwealth. He is a former member of the Springfield Police Commission.
