Estate Planning & Elder Law
Providing Expert Guidance
Annino, Draper & Moore's estate planning and elder law attorneys provide guidance for our clients in the disposition of their assets during their lives and at death. We realize that making these decisions is not a one-time event but a continual and evolving process, as one's financial and family situations change over time. Accordingly, we strive to earn your trust and confidence so that you are comfortable sharing your personal and family needs and goals with us as they change. A family just starting out may want to ensure that their children are provided for in the event of an untimely death. Others may require assistance with caring for an aging parent or loved one. Older parents may want to ensure that their children don't have to worry about taking care of them. Whatever your situation, the attorneys at Annino, Draper & Moore can provide you with the very personalized service and the professional advice necessary to make all the key decisions to protect your assets and your loved ones.
Simple to Complex Estate Planning and Strategies
Our estate planning practice can address anything from the simplest estate plan, to a complex estate with significant estate tax considerations, to small business succession planning, to planning for MassHealth (Medicaid). Our attorneys work with accountants and financial planners to get the right answers to all aspects of your tax, MassHealth or other planning questions.
Massachusetts laws with respect to estates and guardianships are changing at a rapid pace. In July 2009, Massachusetts adopted new laws concerning guardianships and conservatorships. The laws with respect to probate of estates and descent and distribution changed significantly in March 2012. Both new and current clients should contact us to review their existing planning strategies and discuss how the changes in the law apply to them and their estate planning goals.
